The augers are made of carbon or stainless steel, with a special surface finish.
They consist of a U-shaped chute equipped with at least one outlet, an end plate at both ends of the chute, a coil welded on
a center tube with flange coupling at both ends, two end thrust bearings with compensating shaft seal unit, and a bolted cap.
